What should I wear for my headshot session?

Wear something that feels like you; comfortable, confident, and clean. Solid colors tend to photograph best, and I’m happy to help you decide what works if you’re unsure. We’ll talk it through beforehand so you feel great walking in.

2. Can I get help with hair and makeup?

Yes! I can recommend talented, trusted hair and makeup artists who I’ve worked with before. They’re great at enhancing your natural look and helping you feel confident in front of the camera. If you’d like to include that as part of your session, just let me know in advance and I’ll help coordinate everything for you.

3. How long is the session?

Most headshot sessions take around 30 to 60 minutes, while full portrait sessions can be up to 90 minutes depending on your goals. I keep things relaxed and easygoing—there’s no rush. We’ll take our time to make sure you feel comfortable and leave with images you love.

4. Where do the sessions take place?

I offer sessions in-studio, outdoors, or at a location that suits your personality or brand. Whether it’s natural light, a classic backdrop, or something more creative, we’ll find the right vibe for you. If you’re not sure, I’m happy to help you choose what will photograph best and feel the most “you.”

5. How many images will I receive?

After our shoot, I’ll send you a gallery of lightly edited proofs so you can choose your favorites. The number of final, fully retouched images will depend on your package, but I’ll guide you through the selection process and make sure you walk away with the shots you need—and love.

Absolutely. I offer natural, professional retouching to clean up any distractions while keeping everything authentically you. Think: subtle skin smoothing, blemish removal, color correction, and fine-tuning so your final images look polished but not overdone.

7. When will I get my photos?

Once you’ve selected your favorite images, you can expect your final edited photos within 3–4 business days. If you’re working on a tight deadline, let me know—we can often arrange a faster turnaround when needed.

8. Can I change outfits during the session?

Definitely! Outfit changes are encouraged, especially if you want variety in your final gallery. We’ll talk about your goals ahead of time and plan your wardrobe so everything flows smoothly during your session.
